B&B accommodation in Keswick, Heart of the Lake District

The spacious guest bedrooms at Portland House all have en-suite shower rooms and are comfortably furnished.

There are three double rooms, one kingsize flexible room sleeping up to three, one twin-bedded room and one single room.

The twin-bedded room, which is situated on the ground floor is suitable for guests with limited mobility. 

Our largest room has a kingsized traditional style bedstead, Victorian pine furniture and a single bed.  The double-aspect windows make it particularly light and airy. 

All our centrally heated rooms have a flat screen colour TV, hospitality tray that includes home-made shortbread and Fairtrade beverages, wine glasses, corkscrew bottle opener, clock radio, hair dryer, sewing kit and a torch.

Arrival:  Your accommodation will be available from 5.00 pm, unless otherwise arranged.  Latest check-in is 9.30 pm.  We ask that guests telephone to advise us if they are delayed.

WiFi is available free of charge to our guests

A selection of walking guides, maps, books and games are available for guests to use during their stay, including a copy of 'Miles without Stiles' for those who may prefer a less strenuous walk or have limited mobility.
